Internet problem

I have a windows 8 . Although my internet is working properly. The apps dont perform their network features. When i press troubleshoot the problem ,the problem says "Security or firewall might be blocking the connection" . I have tried many solutions but nothings seems to be working. I would like to have some assistance on this issue as soon as possible
