Windows 7 reactivation issue after hard disk format.

Secondly, I have a legitimate version of Windows 7 that has been freshly reinstalled and will not activate online as it had previously, error code 0x80072f8f.

Thirdly, I have attempted to activate over the phone first by auto (type in a series of numbers into the phone) and later by speaking to a person, both options failed.

I was then passed from one operator to a second to a third and no one in Microsoft land of support could assist. The answers I got ranged from:

b) I'm just a customer support, let me pass you on to tech support. No assist, passed on.

c) Do you have a case number? Me says 'No, just got passed on from person to person, need help'. Got hanged up on.
