Suddenly my Bluetooth stopped working. I go to Bluetooth & other devices to connect to my paired devices, but it says Bluetooth is turned off, and the Connect option is grayed out, and there is even no turn Bluetooth on / off button:[/COLOR]
If I click on Add Bluetooth or other device at the top, I get a Couldn't connect error message:
I following the Get more help with Bluetooth problems link, and I tried everything it suggests:
- Make sure Bluetooth is turned on:
Bluetooth is not present in the Action Center even though the action center is expanded:
And as you can see in the above picture, Airplane mode is off.
- Run the troubleshooter:
The Bluetooth trouble shooter says Bluetooth is not available on this device:
Then I go to device manager, and look for Bluetooth, but it's missing unless I press View > Show hidden files, then it appears but with all the Bluetooth items grayed out:
I tried updating the driver for Intel Wireless Bluetooth, but it says that I have the most recent version:
I also tried downloading the newest drivers from Intel for my Intel Wireless-AC 9260, but when I'm about to install it, it shows that it's the same version that I already have:
Lastly, I checked if the Bluetooth Support Service is running, and found out that it is:
Other solutions on the web included looking for an "Unknown USB device" under Universal Serial Bus controllers and uninstalling it, but I don't have that under my devices:
What else can I try in order to fix this?
