Hi,
I use Windows Hello Fingerprint to log into my laptop. Recently, whenever I put my finger on the scanner, it would say "Your PIN is required to sign in." I did some digging on the internet, and one source said that I should set Credential Manager (vaultsvc) to automatic. It worked.
Every time I log out or shut down my laptop, Credential Manager would be disabled again, and the fingerprint scanner would not work. Why is this happening, and how should I fix it?
BTW, I'm running Windows 10 Version 20H2 (OS Build 19042.870).
