I have resuscitated an old Windows 7 computer to use for when my desktop is not available and for zoom meetings. I reinstalled Windows 7 using a genuine 2011 DVD, deleting data and programs, but there were problems so I burnt an ISO and re-tried but it failed part way through and reverted to the previous disk set up. The computer works fine but for two problems – it will not update and a couple of programs will not install because they need Net Framework 4.7.2, which will not install, probably because of the update problem – I uninstalled the anti-virus program but that made no difference. Is there an easy way to get update to work? The update problem showed an error message 80072EFE, the net framework a message "A certificate chain processed but terminated in a root certificate that is not trusted by the trust provider.
