Microsoft Store won't download anything, error code 0x80073CFE

Hi all,


I have an issue where the windows store won't download or update anything and is providing the error 0x80073CFE. I have tried:

  1. Resetting the computer
  2. Updating the computer
  3. Updating all of the drivers for the graphics card, motherboard ect
  4. Resetting the cache for Microsoft store via "Run" (windows + r)
  5. Resetting the store from settings
  6. Making a new account in the Microsoft store and trying there
  7. Force quitting the store from settings
  8. Running the [COLOR=rgba(58, 58, 58, 1)]SFC/scannow [/COLOR]command in terminal to do a scan, which did find issues, so I resolved those issues, did the scan again and it found no issues
  9. Resetting my computer while retaining data on the computer
  10. Doing a reset where I uninstalled literally everything from the computer and did a fresh install of Windows
  11. Activating Windows
  12. Doing steps 1-8 after activating Windows. the SFC/scannow command is finding no issues.

None of these helped resolve the issue. Doing a complete wipe and then installing a fresh install of windows helped for about a month, but the issue is back. I went online again to see if I could find other steps, but instead found a lot of largely unresolved posts of this same problem that were all locked, some from 6 years ago. Please resolve this issue, it seems like a huge bug.
