I need to download windows 7 32 bit home and the site sais there is a problem when I enter my key

I have a laptop that was originally running windows7. It is now running Ubuntu. I want to reinstall windows 7 on it. When I use the product key attached to the laptop it sais there is a problem on the website. I spoke to one person who was going to give me a link to download the program but the line went dead half way into the web address. I called back and the second agent would only tell me to use the answers site to ask for help...
