When ever I open a new window, it pops open in the foreground and immediately goes to the back ground. The only way to keep it in the foreground is to maximize it. I really don't want to have to maximize every window nor do I want to have to close every maximized window to get to the window that has moved to the background. This did not happen until recently.
I have tried a clean boot and that did not work.
I checked the setting in the registry that controls that stuff, ie, Foreground Flash Count (was set to 7 but was told to change it to 3, still did not help)
and Foreground Lock timeout was set correctly to 200000.
I don't know where to go from here, only that this is irritating. I know there has to be a fix, I just can't find out what it is.
Also, this happens in every user. I set up a new user to see if that was the fix and have the same problem.
