Hi,
So I'm trying to re-install a legacy system running windows XP . I have an MSDN account and have downloaded an version of XP (WinXp SP3 x86) from the downloads section and installed with the associated product key.
The installation proceeds properly and finishes successfully. Once installed it will not let me log on until I have activated it (so I can not install drivers including the network card driver) and when I attempt to do phone application it does not create an activation key.
Is this a know (or deliberate) issue? Is there some way to activate XP?
