I recently was having issues with my laptop, which had been updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10 back when MS first offered the free upgrade to Windows 10. I tried doing a repair and loading new drivers, etc., etc. Since everything I tried to fix the various issues and errors didn't resolve anything and actually seemed to be making it worse, I decided to do a clean install of windows 10. When I did the clean install I discovered that the install did not properly identify all of my hardware components and applied generic drivers instead of the correct drivers and in a couple of cases id didn't install any driver. Does anyone know of any application(s) that can review the hardware on a laptop, identify it correctly and apply the correct driver(s) for the hardware components?
I really don't want to have to manually do that for each item, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
