Can't type Chinese Pinyin

1. I have added Chinese(Simplified)-Microsoft Pinyin New Experience Input Style,but i still can't type Chinese Pinyin.

2. When i press the shift key,it should be able to change into English,but i press the shift key and it doesn't change into English.

Why???
