Hello,
I recently acquired a video projector full HD 1080p. The problem is that when I connect it over HDMI with my laptop (Huawei Matebook D14), the active signal resolution is of only 640x480.
I tried the solutions given in this thread: How do I forcefully change the active signal resolution?
which I also found many times in other threads but this doesn't work as the only mode listed in "Display adapter properties for Display 2" is 640x480.
And I cannot simply change the screen resolution back to 1920x1080 from the parameters as they are blocked (greyed).
When I use the Duplicate Project Option, the desktop resolution is 1920x1080 but the active signal resolution is still 640x480.
The problem is that I end up with a worse projection quality (pixelated and words are unreadable).
I tried using my projector with another laptop, and it worked perfectly fine (the active signal resolution stayed at 1920x1080, the quality was perfect).
Any idea how I can change this?
Thank you in advance
