Currently, I boot my laptop from the nvme SSD installed on my MSI laptop currently running windows in an intel environment. I've set an order for a new laptop which uses a ryzen cpu and whole other environment I imagine. So my question is whether I need to do any sort of reformatting or backing up or fresh install of windows or if I'm able to simply install and then set it as the boot drive in the new laptop. Also, as far as I know. My windows 10 license is attached to my Microsoft account. Also, can I take the pre-existing SSD from the new ryzen laptop and put it into the old intel windows laptop?
