Virus security information?

Hi

If I've scanned my harddisk, AVG Anti-Virus displayed
kernel32.dll and shell32.dll Result/Infection: Change

What does it means?
Are they infected or only changed because I've made updates by
Microsoft?

TIA
p

PS: OS ist WinXP Prof.

I don't know what it does mean. But you can try to run Windows File
Protection to ensure, that these binaries are not changed:

This happens when you update your files, such as a Windows update, its not a
virus infection. AVG is simply informing you that the file is different
from the last time you scanned it. If there was a problem AVG would offer
to quarantine the file or likewise.

Hope this helps

AVG is informing you of a change to your computer, that you got after a scan.
Now open AVG and click on Tests >Scan System Areas >Approve the change.
I don't remember the exact words and i can't reproduce that right now,
But it's an allow or deny situation.
