Hi guys,
I have a AsusG750JM Running on Windows 10 Home (Original OS 8.1)
I've been having issues for the past month or so where my computer will randomly shutdown completely.
When I go to boot it up the first time after that shutdown it takes me into BIOS.
In some instances all I have to do is exit BIOS and it will then boot into windows normally.
However, majority of the other times, I will exit BIOS to boot into windows but the PC will continue going to BIOS, after like the 5th-10th time of exiting, I'm finally able to load windows.
I thought it was my HDD so I cloned it and am now running on SSD past week.
Didn't have the issue for the week on SSD but today (April 16th) about 1 1/2 hr half ago my computer shutdown while I was doing normal work, typing in Word to be precise.
Went to turn it on, same BIOS window at first, exit out of that and boot into windows normally.
Investigated the logs around the shutdown time and the relevant logs Im seeing are.
1) The previous system shutdown at 8:56:02 AM on 4/16/2021 was unexpected.
2)The last shutdown's success status was false. The last boot's success status was true..
3) CRITICAL: The System has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first.
This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or
lost power unexpectedly.
I downloaded Windbg Preview as researched and pulled my dump file located at: %SystemRoot%\MEMORY.DMP
Can you guys please help me identify what is causing my system to shutdown on its down? Please let me know if you need further info.
