3 months with a high end Dell XPS, Windows 10. 1 month ago, i had a major failure and after half a day with Dell support, we reimaged Windows.
I got to a blue screen and recovery loop again yesterday and spend 4 hours with tech support at Dell again Hardware Ok, bios settings ok. etc. They wanted to reimage Windows again but I just cant do that every month (who can?). wow.
Finally I somehow was able to get to Restore points and found that my image 4 days ago was solid? So I restored back to that point and I was up and running all day today and was productive again.
Tonight - I am back to bluescreen. Recovery, etc. But I was able to restore back to 4 days ago again.
What is going on? Some kind of auto update that my PC doesnt like? I am just running the MSFT stack with Chome and Adobe. Nothing else at this point. I am back running again after restoring to 4 days ago, but how do I prevent needed to restore again tomorrow?
Any advice and insight would be much appreciated. I threw down for an expensive laptop thinking I wouldn't have to deal with these issues with a high end machine. Now this thing is so unreliable. Is this some wacky hardware issue?
Uggh
thank you
