Recover win 10 product key

Hi, I have an hp desktop with win 8 pre-installed. I had upgraded it to win 10 during the free upgrade offer. Recently win 10 crashed and could not be recovered. I reset the desktop to win 8 oem. Is there a way to get win 10 without having to purchase it?
