Right then,
About two months ago, I installed a new Motherboard, CPU, CPU Fan, RAM and PCIe card into an old case. I formatted the harddrive, but for reasons I just can't seem to find the root of, I cannot install Windows 10 on this system.
PC Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 3200G, 4x 3600 MHz
CPU Fan: Deepcool Gammaxx C40
Graphics: Vega 8 OnChip (onboard)
Motherboard: MSI A320M-A PRO MAX
RAM: 8 GB DDR4-RAM, 3000 MHz, G.SKILL Aegis
WLAN: WLAN PCIe Karte 867 MBit/s (300 MBit/s @ 2,4 GHz)
HHD: Biwin SSD 256GB
When booted, I get past the BIOS splash screen, then the Windows logo appears and the spinning wheel. The wheel spins one full rotation, but on the second rotation, it freezes.
I have tried using several different USB sticks, both 2.0 and 3.0, in several slots. I have reinstalled the Media Creation Tool several times. I have even tried using a different SSD. I have tried with and without the WLAN card. I also tried burning an .ISO DVD. No joy.
I can enter the BIOS and everything is set correctly. I also tried setting everything to default to see if that helps.
No matter what I attempt, the result is the same - the PC freezes on the second rotation of the spinning wheel.
What I haven't I tried or attempted? I'm open to anything that might help get Windows 10 loaded.
Cheers!
