I have an ASUS VG289Q 28 ”3840x2160 monitor. This monitor has non-square pixels. The DPI are different vertically and horizontally. The aspect ratio of the screen is 1.82, not 1.7777 (= 3840/2160). As a result, there is distortion on the VG289Q screen. For example, in Microsoft Word (DPI aware) I am unable to fit an A4 document onto a real A4 sheet of paper. The onscreen A4 is stretched horizontally. The circles look like ellipses… And so on. Distortions are noticeable - up to 7-8 mm for large shapes. It’s quite frustrating!
