I have an older Asus Q200E laptop with Windows 8. When an update to 8.1 was available through the W8 Store, I tried to do the update but it ALWAYS failed with no more information than a "Windows 8.1 failed to install" message in the W8 Store.After the W8 Store closed and W8 support stopped, I tried doing the update as described on the Microsoft Support page "Update to Windows 8.1 from Window 8," downloaded the W8.1 ISO, and ran the setup.exe, but I have gotten no farther than a Windows 8.1 Setup window stating:Making sure you're ready to installThis will take a few Minutes.[actively
