Hello everybody. I have a licensed Windows 7 Pro (OEM). I cloned with dd my old 500GB HDD where the OS was installed to a new 1TB SSD, then expanded the volume to full 1TB. It apparently worked fine but after 30 days I noticed Windows started to complain it's not genuine. It seems re-entering the product key doesn't work. I guessed this happens because Microsoft do not longer support Windows 7. So I wonder if upgrading to Windows 10 pro could resolve the problem: does it will accept the old product key? If this is a viable solution, what procedure I have to follow? Thanks.
