external hard disk USB2/USB3

hello,I have a EWENT EW7056 3.5 inch SATA HDD Enclosure with a 6Tb internal hard disk. When I connect the enclosure to a USB2 port of my computer all works well, but when I connect it to a USB3 port the computer wants me to format the hard disk.How can I connect the enclosure with the hard disk to a USB3 port without having to format it.Thanks,
