Windows Photo Viewer

Every time I open a photo, windows Photo Viewer gives this message; "Windows Photo viewer cant display this picture because there might not be enough memory available on your computer. close some programs that you aren't using or free some hard disk space".I have enough space on my laptop and i have deleted almost all my files to create more space, I have also done windows update and my pc is up to date. What should i do? I cant view my photos
