How do I repair corrupt WAV files

I have some hard drives that I ran through a program to recover some old files that I needed and some of them are corrupted and I don't know how to repair the corrupted WAV files. I have tried a lot of different repairing programs and have tried the VLC methods too. I don't know what to do and I really need these files please help.
