I did some changes in registry which is causing apps crashes when switching tabs but i do not remember what change i did.

Some windows services were starting in background and using a lot of internet data. So a website suggested to do this change in registry and also gave the warning that you may have app crashes when switching tabs. Does anyone know what is that change in registry? Its too irritating. Please help
