Windows xp CD NOT working

I burned genuine files from a genuine windows xp iso and I tried to boot the CD I made. It just shows a black screen with a white blinking cursor, then skips to the main operating system. I tried it on another system, and it shows "Selected boot device failed. Press any key to reboot the system. "
