Stuck in XP land

I have a Dell Latitude D610 running Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 3. I want to know if (other than having to purchase) there is some way to install/upgrade to Windows 10. A free download of whatever it takes would be my first choice of options. Being homeless doesn't allow me a whole lot of options regarding any purchases. PLEASE.., somebody help me with this problem !!
