Headphones won't show up in playback devices and laptop using built-in mic instead of the headphone's mic.

My laptop's headphone jack isn't showing up my headphones and mic in playback devices and recording devices. I have tried doing the following: 1. Allowing access to microphone in privacy settings. 2. Opening sound settings in control panel and marking Disables/Hidden devices. 3. Uninstalling Realtek High Definition Audio Drivers from control panel and device manager. 4. I have also tried disabling front panel jack detection but there is no option in Realtek HD Audio manager and I couldn't find any registry in regedit.exe5. Enabling Stereo Mix in recording tab.6.
