How to set up my music library on my Google Drive to my Windows Media Player?

I have a music library of nearly 400 artists and I have a copy of it on my google drive as a backup and I wanted to access it from my windows media player? Do I need to have on my local drive because if so it will take up around 45 gb of storage!
