theme changed

after the installation of some updates(which is unavoidable bcz no matter how
many times u click cancel they keep coming),the windows appearance
changed,the windows' shapes,colors, the start menu, the taskbar, all changed
in appearance and color,i'm assuming the theme changed,i tried to change the
theme back to the original vista theme( this nice original silver color) but
its not available..so now my windows looks basically like windows 95 or
3.1..how can i change it back?
thnx appreciate it..

Are you running Windows 95 or Windows 3.1? Maybe I missed it - but in that
run-on sentence some might call a paragraph, I don't see mention of what
Operating System you are running nor the KB article numbers of the updates
that 'keep coming'...

Help the people here help you by giving some details.

- What Operating System you run...
- What changed between the system working correctly and now...
- What you have done in order to try and fix it...
