Halo: The Master Chief Collection keeps crashing on startup.

So I've recently bought MCC on windows through the Microsoft Store. When I start it up, it tells me there is a fatal error, and then the game crashes and leaves an Unknown File version error message. I've updated my windows 10 OS to the latest version, and still, it occurs. I've looked at other solutions, but have thus far found nothing.
