I recently learned that my neighbor has been eavesdropping on
conversations in my house using the computer, and he did not keep
these conversations to himself. My work is on the computer so I was on
the internet constantly. He must have used a trojan as the software
and hardware firewall was useless. Symantic just found Trojan.SpamThru
on my machine, but I doubt this is the trojan responsible for the
eavesdropping as this was going on for at least 10 mos. - perhaps
longer. Any suggestions on how to protect myself? I've run several of
the free trojan software once I first learned of this as well as
Symantic and at that time found nothing. I do not have a wireless set-
up. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Paranoia ?
Radio listening device ?

The concept "eavesdropping on conversations" does NOT lend itself to a Trojan on a computer
that easily.

Hell, bounce a laser beam off a window and one can "eavesdrop" on voice communications in a
building.
