Hi Everyone! I just got a Hp Elitebook 1040 G6 laptop and installed a PrimeOs software to enable me use a android simulator. After running it, I entered this problem on restart of the system. It starts up to the screen that shows "Protected by HP Sure Start" then goes to the screen for Power-On Authentication. Here it fails to recognize my finger print and password both. And only gives options to shut down and restart. This is the loop it is stuck in.
