Windows 7 No audio input devise

First I can not active Windows 7. I do not have the product key. I am not sure if that is my main problem, but the problem is I have no sound. The error message says I have no audio input devise. I checked the Devise Manager and it says I do have a Realtek AC97 Audio installed, however the file states "this devise can not be started" (Code 10)Please help!
