Kindle Minecraft multiplayer safety setting

My daughter wants to play multiplayer Minecraft on her Kindle, but it says the Microsoft account is not currently setup for multiplayer and that I should go to Online safety settings. I have been to my Microsoft account. I have also looked up the same question on the internet and all of the answers are for Xbox. How do I do it for my Kindle do I have to link the Kindle to my Microsoft account?
