For many years I have known that when you need to use system restore, you CANNOT use your PIN on the last sign-in if you want to access through safe-mode etc or CMD at startup etc at the startup.You must use your PASSWORD (NO PIN) and then hold shift down and restart then your password will work.I currently have a BSOD ( blue Screen of Death) during the boot of the PC and I am not able to get to the login and use my password.The password that I know is 100% correct will not work.I have then logged into Microsoft and changed the password and still will not work,Currently unable to STARTUP REPAI
