Problems with network adapter and connection

I'm using a Windows 7 Ultimate on a laptop and I'm having a major issue with my Network Adapter, I think it's called Atheros AR985 802.11b/g/n Wifi Adapter. I always have to troubleshoot it and for some reason, the Bytes that I received are very low I don't know what is happening to my computer so I hope someone can help me fix this problem. Thank you
