Password on Old Computer

I'm trying to get into my old computer to get some files and I cannot log in to my Microsoft account. I've reset my password using my phone and restarted the computer and made sure it was connected to the wifi. I've turned caps lock on and off and num lock just to check along with using the on screen keyboard. Nothing has worked so far. Anybody have any ideas or suggestions?
