I have never thought about this until the recent print spooler bug saga but non of our windows 10 PC prompt Admin credentials when installing network printer even though the User account control is set tot he default setting (3rd notch up) . They are fully patched even running 21H1 with all the updates and they do not have HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Printers\PointAndPrintNoWarningNoElevationOnInstall or UpdatePromptSettings Defined in the registry. I would of expected prompting when installing print drivers?
