Cortana vs. Speech Recognition

Aren't - Cortana- Speech Recognition"Overlapped"?Both are WSR execute commands defined in Windows environment.- What are the differences between the two- Does each one has its own SRA (speech recognition algorithms)My suspicion is that Cortana brought-in to match other products in the market(now there are probably two teams competing .. i wish MS unified them into one utilityWell, This is called: jumping to conclusion.. )A
