Internet Explorer wont load pages on my old Windows XP Laptop

I cannot get IE to load any pages on my old laptop. I have also tried to import newer browsers to the laptop via USB stick since I cannot download newer browsers, because I cant search for them. But none of the browsers will open on this computer because theyre 64 bit, and this PC is running 32 bit?I dont know what I am doing, but I need access to this old computer again for a few days. Quite frustrating.
