I've had Windows 10 updates blocked for over two years and currently have version Win10 Pro 1903. I don't fully remember the reason, but there was a piece of software that didn't behave properly after updating so I permanently blocked all updates. Recently, my computer has become very slow when I use demanding programs like After Effects or Ableton, but it's not a normal slowdown.
