My Windows is missing certain drivers, which I've come to assume it's why my laptop can not play stereo sound into my headphones.

I have a Dell G5 laptop, with no modifications system-wise or with hardware. Over a year ago, my earbuds stopped working on one side, and I assumed I had broken them. Recently, I received headphones as a gift, and that's when I realized, it's an issue with my laptop. Cue three days of every possible fix that's been posted on the internet. Eventually, I spotted that contrasting to a youtube video, I did not have Realtek HD Sound Manager and I think some others.
