Hi AllWhy can I not start Microsoft updates and why does it revert back to disabled ? and the computer is telling me I am not got administrator rights.I have asked this question and read loads of articles and almost drawn a blank.However one articles suggested looking at what services are running in Task Manager.And there it was "StopUpdates10 Guard".I ended the task in task manager, then in services I disabled it and re-enabled Microsoft updates to automatic and restarted my computer.My updates are now back working.Dont know when this got onto my computer but has caused me months of not able
