WMP - Windows Media Player is not playing .wav files and all I need is a WAV codec.FYI, I get no error message AND the .wav files do open and play in WMP but, there is no sound, due to a missing codec.I have been running Windows 10 and using WMP for years and never had any issue playing .wav files, until just recently. I assume a recent Windows update screwed things up. I have searched online and in Microsoft support and there is simply no straightforward answer or solution.
