What does it mean, if my X86 CPU has support for 64bit?

My CPU Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 (laptop) is x86 based, but it has support for 64-bit os. Can i install windows 64bit on it?CPU info: Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 Notebook Processor - NotebookCheck.net TechMy laptop info: Intel Mobile Core 2 Duo P8400 @ 2260.97 MHz - CPU-Z VALIDATOR (x86.fr)(PS: my Laptop has support for 8GB ram maximum)
