USB Ports and USB Devices

Am I correct about the following details:-When a USB Device is plugged in for the first time, its driver is 'installed.'-All USB Devices plugged in are 'stored' in the system's memory so that they will be 'recognized' if they are unplugged and plugged in again into the same port.-If the previously-plugged in USB Device was plugged into a different USB Port, the driver would need to be installed again.
