Time to replace Win XP (take two)

I am re posting this question because the system would not let me reply to the answer that was given byReza Ameri . Could someone tell me how to do that, please.I will restate that I already have a Win Pro 10 64bit installation disk and key. Additionally, my system will not boot from the disk, nor can I read the files on the disk. When I try to boot from the disk, all I get is an orange screen with vertical white lines and a cursor blinking in the upper left corner. The computer is unresponsive, I cannot type anything at the cursor. What do I need to get it to boot from the CD/DVD Drive? Do I
