How to replace an SSD boot disc and/or an HDD data disc with a single SSD?

Hello. I'm running Windows 7 on a PC that has a 250 GB SSD and a 2 TB HDD. I believe that the operating system is installed on the SSD, although disconnecting just the HDD is sufficient to prevent a successful boot.I have just bought a 2 TB SSD to replace the aging HDD. Does it make sense to keep the 250 GB SSD and replace just the HDD, or does it make more sense to replace both drives with the new SSD? How would I go about this? I have used Windows Backup to make a system image on an external drive.I want to upgrade this OS to Windows 10 and have downloaded the media creation file to a USB st
