Cursor issues with Microsoft Solitaire only

I have an HP mouse that works great on everything except Microsoft Solitair. It just freezes. Have tried a wireless mouse also, same problem. I even tried to unplug the cord and that did nothing. I am at a loss to figure out why. H E L P
